⚙️Rubix Chain Roadmap Updates

Periodic Pledging - Enhancing Liquidity and Decentralization

Rubix Chain introduces Periodic Pledging, a feature designed to improve the liquidity of pledged tokens and promote further decentralization. Validators can pledge their tokens for specific periods, allowing for periodic re-pledging, which enhances token liquidity and ensures a more equitable distribution of credits across the network.

Key Benefits:

  • Improved Liquidity: Tokens are pledged for defined periods, allowing them to be re-pledged, thus enhancing their liquidity and usability within the network.

  • Increased Decentralization: Periodic pledging ensures a more equitable distribution of credits, reducing the risk of centralization and promoting a fairer network.

Distributed Pledging - Equitable Rewards for Validators

The new Distributed Pledging mechanism ensures that every validator participates equally by pledging tokens and earning rewards on an equal basis. This approach prevents any single validator from gaining disproportionate influence over the network, promoting a more democratic and decentralized blockchain environment.

Key Benefits:

  • Equal Participation: Every validator pledges equally, preventing centralization and ensuring a balanced network.

  • Equitable Rewards: Rewards are distributed equally among validators, fostering fairness and encouraging widespread participation.

Account Recovery - Enhanced Security, Flexibility, and Lightweight Solution

Rubix Chain now offers an enhanced Account Recovery feature, providing users with a secure, flexible, and lightweight method for safeguarding their accounts. Users can back up their mnemonic keys and store critical on-chain information through a dedicated service node, ensuring efficient account recovery in case of lost or compromised keys.

Key Benefits:

  • Increased Security: Users can securely back up their mnemonic keys, ensuring they can recover their accounts even if the keys are lost or compromised.

  • Enhanced Flexibility: The ability to store on-chain information through a service node provides users with multiple options for account recovery.

  • Lightweight Solution: The account recovery process is designed to be lightweight, minimizing the burden on users and maintaining the network's efficiency.
